Weddings have been my main income for many years. It is where it all started for me. I loved shooting weddings from the first one I did back in Bloemfontein assisting a fellow photographer and all the subsequent ones in Kimberley and Cape Town. The pace and excitement are what I really enjoyed I suppose but also doing the bridal shoot was always something special. I always tried to make each unique and challenging, taking couples to some new location I had discovered. I guess I just love photographing people.
Times have moved on now, I am older and no longer want to race around from location to location on a Saturday from morning till late at night, making sure you get every shot and fighting for space with the video people. Besides the corporate photography I do, I would love to do more documentary photography, I love telling a story with photos, that kind of stuff.
